Friday Sketchdump #2
I made less sketches than usually this week, because of much stress with trying to meet deadlines for University. Anyway, I was at the act drawing course yesterday (which I do at the University of applied arts) with a friend, then we visited the Museum of Natural History and sketched some animals there.
I won't post the act drawing pictures here to preserve your eyes.. maybe in a few weeks when they actually look like something.
Anyway, here are some animals:

Cinema 4d
Speaking of mascots... a friend showed me the Cinema4d site today, as he uses this program for modelling and recommended it to me. I can't tell how good it is, but I can tell that there is a really good usage of this mascot on their website. They did a really good job on character design there, reminds me a bit of Over the Hedge.
There is also a Video of with this character, and this is the general Website of this character animation module.
I think I'll try to get my hands on Cinema4d now, and also some good literature about character modeling, rigging and if I succeed, animation

I had the first act drawing course at the University of applied arts today, pretty fun. I'm looking forward to doing this 4 hours per week!
I registered the domain www.toonmascots.net yesterday, still thinking of what to do with it, but I already have an Idea for a site.
Also, I found out that there is a Hardstyle/Jumpstyle event next month, hopefully I'll have time for that!

I've been to the Zoo today. Probably one of the last days where it isn't too cold for going.

Another Cardboard
So, this time it's a ferret. I had quite some problems qith the anatomy, also coloring gave me a headache, because drawing white on grey isn't fun. Anyway I like how it turned out, considering it's one of the more complicated poses for me.
