I found out that it was 10€ cheaper on Amazon after buying it, but I wanted it NOW!
This book contains almost everything about animation, even how to animate a falling piece of dough.. It’s not bound to a certain art style at all, everything can be applied to any art style.

Chris Hart! Even though this book is aimed at kids, his drawings are awesome and helpful :)

I made the outlines with a waterproof pen, and painted the back with acrylic colors.. Made alot of mistakes, also the drawing isn’t really perfect.. but well.. it’s my first try.
The background is my TFT, displaying a photo I found on Flickr (hopefully under cc as I forgot who took it).

“Ferret and Frog”: the Stories are absolutely lame, the character does not look like a ferret in any way, still i like the animation style, also it reminds me a bit of “2 stupid dogs”

This is probably my favourite Cartoon by Tex Avery and Preston Blair now. Even though the Styles (especially the two Squirrels) are different, they blend together really well and the Animation is just super-smooth :)

I can’t tell how good it is, but I can tell that there is a really good usage of this mascot on their website. They did a really good job on character design there, reminds me a bit of Over the Hedge.

There is also a Video of with this character, and this is the general Website of this character animation module.

I think I’ll try to get my hands on Cinema4d now, and also some good literature about character modeling, rigging and if I succeed, animation :)
