This book contains almost everything about animation, even how to animate a falling piece of dough.. It’s not bound to a certain art style at all, everything can be applied to any art style.

I also found this at the Art store today:

Chris Hart! Even though this book is aimed at kids, his drawings are awesome and helpful

I’m only going to keep 3 or 4 packs, the others are for friends.

This is probably my favourite Cartoon by Tex Avery and Preston Blair now. Even though the Styles (especially the two Squirrels) are different, they blend together really well and the Animation is just super-smooth
Here are some related modelsheets/keyframes:

Speaking of mascots… a friend showed me the Cinema4d site today, as he uses this program for modelling and recommended it to me. I can’t tell how good it is, but I can tell that there is a really good usage of this mascot on their website. They did a really good job on character design there, reminds me a bit of Over the Hedge.

There is also a Video of with this character, and this is the general Website of this character animation module.

I think I’ll try to get my hands on Cinema4d now, and also some good literature about character modeling, rigging and if I succeed, animation
