A week ago me, Henrieke and Eline went to Bruxelles for a costume event in the Jubelpark in Brussels. It was absolutely awesome and we made alot of kids very happy, here are some photos:

I know it's late, but I wanted to wait until all cards arrive! One got lost in the mail though, so I gave up my hopes.

Since I doubt I'll get any more christmas cards, I'll post the ones I got here because they're all awesome! Thanks go to my friends and family who sent them!

This christmas was awesome! Had a great and relaxing time with my family, went to church, made punch, and I got the most awesome presents and christmas cards. (I'll make a separate post on awesome cards later since not all did arrive yet).
Here's the best present ever, LOG! All kids love log.
I would never have expected that this actually exists, but my brother got me a log for christmas. AWESOME!
Here's everything I got: Sempé in New York, Making Comics by Scott McCloud, a Tea Box, LOG, Ong Bak 2, Banlieu 13, a chocolate keyboard, a ceramic knife, japanese shrimp snacks, a cartoon cup, a mini tripod & USB cardreader, a Softbox for photography and a travel bag.
My hamster Nico also got alot of things, which he quickly stuffed into his cheeks!

How to avoid updating Windows Live Messenger / MSN
So recently I couldn't sign in with Windows Live Messenger 8.5 anymore. Well I thought 9.0 can't be that bad, but in fact 9.0 is major bullshit and one of the crappiest pieces of software I've ever seen.
Some may say 8.5 is bad, but in fact it's very usable when you remove everything unnecessary with A-Patch
Anyway, the easy way to continue using WLM 8.5 is:
- Go to the MSN Directory (most likely C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger)
- right-click on msnmsgr.exe, then click on Properties
- Go to the Compatibility Tab
- Select "Windows 2000"
voila, MSN signs in again
Comic Meeting on 14.10.09.
So we had a Comic meeting again and finally were productive and produced a new collaboration comic.
Panels drawn by Gerald, me, Alina, Lisa, Andi and I don't know who drew the last ones. A highlight of austrian comic art.

Luckily I read the newspaper, there was this 3-day long "Game City" computer games convention in the city hall here... Not that I am interested in computer games, but I remembered last year where I met Ulrich schröder there. He told me he'll be there in 2009, and so I hopped on my bike and went there in order to make it before they closed.
And he was there!
We chatted a bit, and I got this awesome drawing from him:

Setting up three/drei/3 as APN on a G1
It took me a while to find out the settings to use 3 (Hutchison 3g) on my unlocked G1 android phone. Using the standard settings they give you will make everything work, except the browser. The Browser will display "Service doesn't exist" at any attempt on loading a page if the settings are wrong.
These are the right settings for the austrian three network:

Wer ein entsperrtes Android Telefon (zum Beispiel ein G1) hat, wird bei den APN Einstellungen eventuell merken, dass der Browser nicht funktioniert. Das liegt daran, dass man eigentlich garkeinen proxy server verwenden muss, bzw der proxy nur für MMS zu verwenden ist. Bei den falschen Einstellungen zeigt der Browser "Service doesn't exist" an, sobald man versucht, eine beliebige Seite zu laden.
Die richtigen Einstellungen für Drei Österreich sind:
