Here's the best present ever, LOG! All kids love log.

I would never have expected that this actually exists, but my brother got me a log for christmas. AWESOME!

Here's everything I got: Sempé in New York, Making Comics by Scott McCloud, a Tea Box, LOG, Ong Bak 2, Banlieu 13, a chocolate keyboard, a ceramic knife, japanese shrimp snacks, a cartoon cup, a mini tripod & USB cardreader, a Softbox for photography and a travel bag.

My hamster Nico also got alot of things, which he quickly stuffed into his cheeks!

Some may say 8.5 is bad, but in fact it's very usable when you remove everything unnecessary with A-Patch

Anyway, the easy way to continue using WLM 8.5 is:

1. Go to the MSN Directory (most likely C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger)
2. right-click on msnmsgr.exe, then click on Properties
3. Go to the Compatibility Tab
4. Select "Windows 2000"

voila, MSN signs in again

Wer ein entsperrtes Android Telefon (zum Beispiel ein G1) hat, wird bei den APN Einstellungen eventuell merken, dass der Browser nicht funktioniert. Das liegt daran, dass man eigentlich garkeinen proxy server verwenden muss, bzw der proxy nur für MMS zu verwenden ist. Bei den falschen Einstellungen zeigt der Browser "Service doesn't exist" an, sobald man versucht, eine beliebige Seite zu laden.
Die richtigen Einstellungen für Drei Österreich sind:

They probably feared it could be too successful when they made these awful movie posters, probably with the intent to scare kids away.

Anyway, here's what I got:

At first, christmas cards from friends around the world (thanks to everyone!), an Ukulele (finally!), another bright orange DryFIT shirt (can't have enough of those), Glicos from our japanese friends (awesome candys), A TOTALLY AWESOME TEX AVERY FIURINE (which I'll explain later), Pralines, Disney Comics, Books (a Thriller and one about Toilets), DVD (Hollow Man), a laminating machine and Eric Goldbergs "Animation Crash course", which seems to be the best book about animation since Preston Blairs.

So this is the figurine I got. It's from "The early bird dood it".

Luckily the gifts I gave to others were also liked (Beer, Giant Microbes, DVDs, other stuff). The most fun thing was probably the tiny RC helicopter I gave to one of my brothers. It's totally fun and survived many crashes already. I should get one for myself too..

Amazing that this actually works (very well even). It just needs quite some practice.
