Eurofurence 14
Just returned from my Trip to Germany where I visited Eurofurence, and it was awesome!
The organization was impressing, all Staff members were professional in their fields, like the DJs performing there. There even was a con-intern TV channel in the hotel where all events where broadcasted.
The hotel was perfect (just a bit crowded), food and beer were fine.

We drove one Day earlier in order to have some time to relax after the 8-hour drive, but as 300 other people had the same plan, there wasn't much time to relax at all..

On the first day, me, Gerald and Henrieke (dutch cartoon artist) held a workshop about cartoon drawing for beginners and intermediates. The room was quite full and it seemed people liked it! Apart from basic construction we also covered the stuff that you'll only find in the good old books like Preston Blairs, like line of action and silhouette.
I'll probably make a post about that workshop later and also provide the handout with great instructional drawings by Henrieke.
I have a Dreamcast!
Today, 45 years ago, Martin Luther King held his speech about how cool the Dreamcast is.
Capri-Sonne characters
I like this.. the lion not too much, but the other characters are pretty cool!
Let's hope someone will pay me money for such designs someday...
Give me Ideas
You may request me to sketch something. Should be something completely random and stupid.
How to avoid updating ICQ 5.1
So it seems ICQ now forces you to Update on their new and incredibly shitty ICQ 6 Version, also a few free clients seem to have problems connecting now.
I've always used ICQ 5.1 with Banner remover patch, and some cool guy wrote a Patch that allows you to continue using the old ICQ 5
(ICQ Lite 4 and ICQ 2003b still work without patch)
Sometimes all you need for inspiration…

Awesome Reference is awesome
I wish there were more Sculptures of this quality out there, because they make perfect drawing references.
So I guess I’m 21 now.
Another year older. Time to go to the U.S. and get wasted (legally).
So we played “Eat poop you Cat”
Yesterday was Comic meeting again, and we played a round of Eat poop you Cat which is basically a mix between Pictionary and Telephone.
In case you wonder why the sentences are on the same sheets as the drawings, I wrote them down afterwards to make it easier to read as we passed the result around.
So, here is the result:
"Argh, Comic meeting is on Wednesday already!"
More bad news
Man, I hope I'll have some better things to report of when I'm in Australia..
I couldn't make it to the event with Talla 2XLC.. even though I promised it to Tabbie (one of my best friends ever), I was too late to catch the Bus to Bratislava.
Makes me feel really bad.
The other thing is, my other (and now only) Hamster Robin has a Tumor.. discovered it yesterday, been to the vet today. There is nothing I could do about it, and that means he won't be there anymore when I come back from Australia.
The more or less good news is, that the vet said that Max most probably had a cardiac defect, and even if I discovered it earlier, I couldn't have done anything anyway.
Apart from that, I have loads of stress with packing for Australia and a cold.
Bye Max..
Found him dead in his cage today.. He was still warm when I found him.
Yesterday he was climbing around on me, no signs of Illness, I have no Idea what happened..
He was only about 10 weeks old..
[update] he still seems to be breathing, but reacts to nothing.. vet opens in 25 Minutes, so I'll go there right now
[update] Okay.. now he stopped breathing.. no need to go to the vet anymore. and I will anlways wonder why.. :/
Talla 2XLC in Bratislava (aka Partyslava)
Hmm... It would be really tight, because I'll fly to Australia one day later.. Then again, it's Talla!
I don't know..

For those who don't know Talla, here is an example:
